Title of Book ~ Twin Flames: Soul Bound  by Alix Richards

Genre: Short Erotic

Blurb:

In an effort to escape the reality that steps from the deepest recesses of her mind, Joy runs away for a long weekend alone in a friend’s cabin. She hopes to use the time to gain a logical perspective on an impossible situation.

Joy lives in her dreams, but no longer lives there alone.

Jairo needs Joy to be happy, even if it comes at his expense. Forced to remain patient, he walks away from the woman of his heart and soul. He confines himself to his family’s cabin to give Joy the time alone she requests.

Dreaming with Joy isn’t new, but waking with her physically in his arms, sexy and wet kicks Jairo’s desire for her into a new stratosphere.

Confusing dreams and unexplainable reality drops them into attack mode, neither quite ready for what destiny pushes their way. As nature and destiny collide for both, Joy and Jairo, nothing will be the same.

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:

“As Jair (Jay) isn’t a fan of the holidays I’ll make him his favorite, Buttermilk Pancakes. And the two of us will cuddle up in front of the fireplace and ignore the doorbell. His ‘gift’ I’ll wrap in a big red ribbon with a huge bow, his favorite color is red. He enjoys the unwrapping and I love watching him unwrap m…err…I mean them.” Joy blushes.

“Since Joy loves the season I’ll take her out to look at all the lights and decorations on Christmas Eve. Then when we return home, I’ll give her the gift I searched months to find. Just so I see her face light up and from there…well, use your imagination.” Jairo smirks.

Title of Book ~ Angela’s Coven  by Bruce Jenvey

Genre: Paranormal Fantasy/Urban Fantasy

Click Cover to Find out More about Angela's Coven

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:
We are talking here about two very different people from two very different worlds. Reggie Sinclair is an aging British rock star who has lived in a New York City penthouse for quite some years.  Angela Bradbury is a modern-day Witch practicing Olde World Witchcraft in her small shop in Greenwich Village.
Being more homespun, Angela would brew something on the back burner of her kitchen stoves that would smell of pine and Yule Logs and conjure fond childhood memories in Reggie. She would pour this into a votive candle and let it scent the centerpiece during a quiet dinner for two in the apartment above her shop.
Reggie, being more flamboyant and the showman, would hire a Hansom Cab to pick her up all the way down in Greenwich Village and then take them on a ride around and through Central Park, past all the holiday lights. He most certainly would bring his favorite acoustic guitar along and softly pick Olde English carols for her as they rode along under the lights before taking her back to his penthouse balcony overlooking Central Park West.

Genre: Dark Romantic Suspense

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:
Christmas is special around here. I mean there’s Aaron, but for me it’s all about making Almira happy. She does so much for me and she’s been through so much I just want her to know that I’m here for her no matter what. We usually go away for the weekend up to a cabin in the Cumberland Gap area and it’s just the two of us. I have Luke and Aaron put up a tree and Martha Stewart the place up and get the gifts placed under the tree. Then it’s just me, her, a fire, and eggnog for Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is for the family but the night before we get to be a little naughty and it’s nice to know we don’t have to worry about our pasts anymore and concentrate on building our future.—

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:
This is Victoria Welshire, butting in on this holiday hullabaloo! So, you are pestering my twin brother James because of some book the Professor put out about him called Lust? My book came first and is called Debauchery, suck on that!  Really, you want a 700 year old sexy brooding, long and dark haired, one woman vampire man- not boy, pfft!- to do something romantic for his deadly feline lady and have it be PG-13?  Get real chicas!  No real vampire of yore would be romantic, much less be kid friendly about it!

Title of Book ~ Painted Jezebel by Jolie Pethtel
Genre: Romantic Comedy/Mystery

Click Cover to Find out More about Painted Jezebel

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:
Jezebel: What is my idea of a romantic Christmas? Snuggling up by the fireplace on a cold winter’s morning… *stares dreamily skyward*
Finn: What would you be wearing on this cold winter’s morn?  *wags his eyebrows suggestively*
Jezebel: He’s such a pervert. Just ignore him. I do. *Rolls eyes*
Finn:  You know you love me.
Jezebel: You are here in the capacity of my publicist, not my fiancé. *stares daggers at Finn*
Interviewer: May I ask why your…publicist is dressed like Santa Clause? *frowns*
Jezebel: Off the record?
Interviewer:  Of course. *looks disappointed*
Jezebel: He has a costume fetish. *shrugs* I try to be understanding, but I refuse to sit on his lap in a skimpy elf costume and tell him what I want for Christmas. Especially since I strongly suspect the elf costume is what I’m getting for Christmas. *crosses arms over chest and glares*
Finn: Have a little faith. ‘Tis the season for miracles. Reach into my pocket. *grins mischievously*
Jezebel: Now is not the time for this. *hisses*
Interviewer: I think I should go. If I need anything else, I’ll…give you a call. *squirms uncomfortably*
Finn: Trust me. *looks deep into Jezebel’s eyes*
Jezebel: Fine *reaches into fur trimmed coat pocket, withdraws two tickets to Ireland*
Jezebel: What is this?
Finn: I want you to meet my family, but first I want something else from you. *Rises to feet, presses play on the CD player and stripper music ensues. Begins a sexy dance, during which time the interviewer shakes her head in amazement and slips out the door.*
Jezebel: Look what you’ve done now you’ve scared the interviewer away. *fights unsuccessfully to hold back a giggle as he gyrates toward her, undoing buttons on his Santa suit*
Finn:  The local paper is over-due for a scandalous expose that has nothing to do with cheating on bingo night, now pay attention. This is my big finish. *Pulls pillow out of his suit and whips it around overhead then throws it to Jezebel*
Jezebel: *laughs then gasps, as she catches the satin pillow, then sees the gorgeous diamond and emerald engagement ring attached*
Finn: Ta da! *slips Santa coat off bare shoulders as music ends and across his chest in mini sticky notes is written ‘Will you marry me?’ in green and red marker*

Genre: Romance

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:
My name is Beck Cavington and growing up in Northeringale where Christmas Miracles are the norm, I have a strong belief in Christmas, in spite of my mom, Irene Cavington’s persistent attempts to marry me off to a parade of losers.
I was content to be single, basking in the radiance of my best friend Angie’s happiness with Cam Drayton, but then Hank Childress walked into my confectionary store and suddenly I am thinking things I never thought me capable of.
Hank is a minister, and like 99% of the population I believed ministers were far too…pious to think about mistletoe and egg-noggin <wink*wink*). Boy was I wrong. Hank in a Santa hat…Oh please be still my Wassailing heart!

Blade, a man of means, discovers Miss Right under the guise of a singles cruise set up by his business partner.

No Page yet for One Plus One

The Romantic Christmas Write Up:
Lacinda lay soaking up the sun on Blade’s remote tropical island, only thoughts of relaxation lap at her mind. A gentle warm touch on her shoulder causes a melting stir within and she opens her eyes.
“Didn’t you tell me you’d be tied to your office all day?” She sits up, clasping the back of her bikini top.
“That’s just it, I’m tied to something today, and I finally realized it isn’t my office.” Blade snuggles against her on the lounge chair, wrapping an arm around her waist. “All I keep thinking about is Christmas. Its two days away and I have nothing for you.”
“Let’s not go into this again.” Lacinda stands and stretches. She kneels down in front of Blade and notices how much he truly looks like a blond Hugh Jackman. Their gazes meet and his softens into hers. “Why can’t you believe me when I say, ‘you are my Christmas present’? What would you want from me for Christmas?”
Blades brows wiggle up and down and a crazy grin steals his smile.
“Okay…so we’ll both be tied up for Christmas.” Lacinda laughs. “Can we stay here for the holidays?”
Blade’s expression sobers and he pulls her into his lap. “Fortune sure shined on me when you filled out that crazy contest entry for the One Plus One cruise. You’re such an unassuming wonder, Lacinda.”
“Oh, I assume, Blade. Like, I’m assuming you’ll take care of some needs I’m feeling right this moment, since you untied yourself from the office…”

Come on in and make yourself comfy ~ our heroes and heroines have a lot to talk about...tis the season.

Welcome

Kristin...Alix, I'm still interested in the chocolate vamps...do I have to give up my soul to enjoy?

*Yawns* Oh man - I had some computer trouble last night and missed a lot of the fun! :(

But I see things went smashing without me! I hope there's still gingerbread, chocolate vampires, and Baileys left for today. Love the kissing couple up top and can't wait to read through everyone's character's Christmas stories today!

But first, I need a cuppa coffee over here...

Kay Dee Royal said...

Sorry about the color scheme today...somthing happened during the night ~ crazy elves got into blogger and screwed around with everyone's post. I had to go in this morning and straighten it all out...only they kept messing with me! Doggone little stinkers.

So...I left the colors to their own volition...yes, the elves got away with it!

I figure I have to be especially nice to those little buggers because they are Santa's little helpers...right?

Good Sunday Morning All! I'm getting ready to read through the posts. I like the first few so far. I'm enjoying my morning tea and watching The Shop Around the Corner (on TCM) at the same time. It's one of those holiday movies that doesn't get a lot of notice, but it's a good one.

Ho, Ho, Ho...

Good Morning Catherine - welcome back! I've been taping old movies on Lifetime, but haven't had time to watch many.

DL left a message, and I'm wondering if perhaps I have a number of addy links because of all the messing around to get this post up and running this morning? Anyway - Thanks for stopping by DL. Got you in the drawing.

Morning, all. Another day of holiday cheer from more of our merry band, wow! I've got to catch up on lagging posts today; discovered that my computer created a file and slipped lots of mail into it. Embarrassing to say the least, so now I have to send apologies to a bunch of folks. I'll be back later to read more of the fun posts coming on here. Sunday cheers!

So happy to see everyone here! Unfortunately I have a busy day away from the computer. Christmas shopping and paying my respects to a relative who passed away last week.

But I'll be back later in the evening, so hold some Baileys and cookies for me, yes?

Have a good time! *waves*

I'm logged n but haven't been able to post all day. One more try! I got a late start having to clean up the kitchen after Chris made 24 mini loaves of pumpkin bread (I'm good with the dish washer, not as good with the cooking) though I have made dinner today! Swiss steak and potatoes, on of my few specialties! Gotta get it done by 4 to watch the LIONS game! :>

I like what the elves did, Kay Dee, makes it more festive. *grin*

I'll be back in a sec, I just need to stash my merch someplace safe real quick! Then I'll have a cookie. ;)

Hey Amy, about Almira and Daniel...I've read the first bit of your story where Daniel rips her off...and it is really James Bond style...gripping right from the get-go...and the tension between them sizzles. *smile*

Bruce...it's all good talking about football on the romance channel *grins* Football players are pretty buff ~ LOL I'm thrilled you're so far on your second book in the series.

Hi Cheryl *waves* - Happy Holidays to you, too!! Alix made some soft sugar cookies and gingerbread men if your interested. AND, I've got some Bailey's tucked away I'm happy to share. Pat got some earlier.

Alix, did Bruce just give you an idea for your next romance? You've got one heck of a creative flow when it comes to deep inner feelings between an amazing hero & heroine. You can definitely make it happen.

Nancy...big holiday hugs, woman. I get the holiday 'stuff' going on...we're so glad you made our big party ~ you've included a delightfully delicious giveaway with the Oak King's Daughter. Mmmm-good!

Sara - you did it...got the tree up while hubby's off watching football. Yeah, was he surprised when you invited him in to see it? I love Sarah McLachlan's voice...so beautiful in a deep spiritual sense. Nice.

Catherine - I know what you mean about cookies...my grandchildren and I usually get together and make Pigeon Poop...the name sounds terrible, but the candy mix is soooo good.

I know it's getting late...maybe the party is starting to wind down? Who's still interesting in a little cocktail?

Kay Dee Royal said...

Hey, Danielle...sweetie, poored you a glass of Bailey's...two ice cubes. AND, Alix left you a couple special looking cookies. *smile* She's really quite the baker.

So, did you buy out the stores *smile* The hustle & bustle of smiling faces and happy Christmas spirits is kind of nice. I ran into B&N for a bit...amazingly, it wasn't that busy.

S.Durham said...

Happy and safe Holidays to everyone!

Did I miss today's party? I was shopping and taking the kids to see Santa today. I was so proud of my four year old Orion. He was scared last year, but this year he climbed on Santa's lap and hugged him like crazy. When Santa asked if there was anything the kids wanted to tell him, so they could ask for what they wanted Orion hugged him again and said "I love you, Santa" When the kids are being hyper and annoying, it's moments like that which remind me why I'm running myself ragged this holiday season. I am sooo ready for the Bailey's and spiked cookies right now. It's been one heck of a day. I should have done all my shopping online like Jezebel would. I could be staying inside making cookies right now. Maybe tomorrow. I'm also trying to finish Jezebel's second book Poison Pens by the end of the year too, so it's a really busy month. Oh and for the readers, Finn has a costume fetish and Jezebel has a sticky note addiction, hence the sticky notes on his chest lol. S. Durham, Jezebel mistook Finn for a stripper when she first met him, so I thought it would be appropriate *grin* Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed the party and has a Merry Christmas. Jolie Pethtel

Brandy bless your heart!!! Who doesn't love a good vampire book?

The brownies are damn good. Good and then damn them for being 170 calories!

I had 3. I feel like Merry and the Lembas bread!

Now it is a pepperoni pizza light hot pocket! Let's order a real pie, eh? Then we can serve up the Delivery Boy, too!!!!

It is after all cold outside. May as well invite him in to get...warm. hehehe

Dang, I want to light the yule log!

Kay Dee has reminded me I need to get back to work if I want to make my deadline *pout* I'd rather stay and play, but I need to go. The party was great. Good luck to everyone in the drawing and thank you for having me and the other awesome authors at muse.
